ENGLISH
Bell Work: Choose one event from your list of events to write about. Please list at top
of journal. Make a chart for the 5 W's - who, what, when, where, why. Fill in chart.
Then make a word bank (or phrases) for sights, sounds and smells for some event.
In Class: We brainstormed ideas for our descriptive writing paragraphs, and worked on our life maps.
Assignment: Life Maps are due on Thursday. Signed reading letters are due on Friday. Descriptive writing paragraphs are due on Friday.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students took the Six Question quiz regarding Chapter 4, Sections 2, 3 & 4. The classification and prediction activity concerning Chapter 4, Sections 5, 6 & 7 was completed in class.
Experience at Home: Complete the Learning Opportunity worksheet regarding Chapter 4, Sections 5, 6 & 7 or be prepared for a Six Question Quiz concerning the same information.
SCIENCE
In Class: We worked on the Observation/Inference pictures. Finish your obs. and inferences - three for each picture. Highlight observations and inferences on the attached paragraphs. Write two inferences for the second paragraph.
