Parent-Teacher Conference sheets were sent home with the students on September 10th. Please return them as soon as possible in order to receive a scheduled time. Conferences will be held on September 24th, 25th & 27th. All openings on the 24th, 25th and the afternoon of the 27th have been filled. Please contact us to schedule a conference for the morning of the 27th if needed.
ALGEBRA
In Class: Handed in assignments, took the chapter 2 quiz.
Assignment: Read page 108-110 and complete 1-15 on page 111.
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Reviewed sum, difference, product, and quotient for the assessment tomorrow, and make corrections on assignments to be handed in Tuesday.
Assignment: Be sure pages 1-6 are all completed and corrections are made, study for the assessment.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students wrote a journal reflecting on their AR progress at this time. How many books they have read and how they will accomplish their goals by the end of the quarter.
In Class: Students discussed adverbs today, and they worked on an adverb packet in class. This is the last part of speech. We will have a test on all eight on Wednesday.
Assignment: Last day to hand in grade sheets is Tuesday! Adverb packets are due on Tuesday. Parts of speech test is on Wednesday. Remember to read your AR books!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: We selected teams for American Revolution Capture the Flag.
Experience at Home: Please wear a shirt of the appropriate color for your country. American Colonists= Blue Great Britain= Red France= White
SCIENCE
In Class: We logged the moon and drew out pictures for the weekend. You need to get your pictures caught up and do another prediction for tonight. We worked on the moon notes through number 8.
Assignment: Moon logging and notes to catch up on.
