Parent-Teacher Conference sheets were sent home with the students on September 10th. Please return them as soon as possible in order to receive a scheduled time. Conferences will be held on September 24th, 25th & 27.
ALGEBRA
In Class: Reviewed for the chapter 2 quiz and organized assignments to be handed in on Friday.
Assignment: Make corrections on assignments and study for the quiz.
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Introduced evaluating expressions, and organized assignments to be handed in on Friday before the quiz.
Assignment: Study for the integer subtraction quiz and complete worksheet pages 9.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students did Daily Oral Language #3. Get this from Mrs. Micek or another student if you were absent. There will be a quiz soon.
In Class: Students reviewed spelling words by playing a spelling game. Students finished adjective packets and handed them in today.
Assignment: Spelling quiz is due on Friday. Remember to read your AR books!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: We completed a Compare and Contrast sheet regarding the American and British soldiers.
Experience at Home: Complete the Learning Opportunity worksheet concerning Chapter 7, Section 2 & 3 or be prepared for a Six Question quiz.
SCIENCE
In Class: We handed in all bubble gum experiments. Make sure yours is in. We spent the class reviewing for the Scientific Method Assessment which is on Friday. Finish your review sheet and your practice assessment. They will be picked up on Friday.
Assignment: Do your review sheet and assessment practice sheets.
Journal: We logged the moon info.
