Parent-Teacher Conference sheets were sent home with the students on September 10th. Please return them as soon as possible in order to receive a scheduled time. Conferences will be held on September 24th, 25th & 27.
ALGEBRA
In Class: Introduced subtraction of real numbers, introduced terms.
Assignment: Complete page 82, exercises 1-14, 16-58 even.
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Introduced subtraction of integers as adding the opposite.
Assignment: Complete pages 5-6.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students took the SRI reading test in the computer lab today.
Assignment: Verb/preposition worksheet is due on Wednesday. Spelling quiz is due on Friday. Remember to read your AR books!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: We translated the Declaration of Independence into familiar vocabulary.
Experience at Home: Bring the translation sheets to the History Experience Wednesday.
SCIENCE
In Class: Review sheets were handed out for the assessment on Friday. They are due on Friday. Start working and be ready to ask questions on Thursday. We made our quadrants for the moon watch. You will need to do a quadrant. Calendars were set up for your three days of viewing. We assigned days. Look at the your classes' calendar and see if the dates work.
Assignment: Parent letters due on Wednesday.
