Parent-Teacher Conference sheets were sent home with the students on September 10th. Please return them as soon as possible in order to receive a scheduled time. Conferences will be held on September 24th, 25th & 27th. All openings on the 24th, 25th and the afternoon of the 27th have been filled. Please contact us to schedule a conference for the morning of the 27th if needed.
ALGEBRA
In Class: Introduced simplifying expressions using the distributive property.
Assignment: On page 103 (45-69, 70-82)
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Reviewed sum, difference, product, and quotient and reviewed order of operations.
Assignment: Complete worksheet page 4 only, be sure to make corrections on pages 1-3.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students reviewed spelling works for quiz tomorrow and finished pronoun packet with their partners.
In Class: We discussed pronoun case today, including subjective, objective , and possessive cases. We also did several examples on the overhead. A worksheet was assigned as homework.
Assignment: Grade sheets are due! Pronoun case worksheets are due tomorrow. Spelling 2 quiz is tomorrow. Remember to read your AR books.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: We completed a 3-2-1 sheet regarding Chapter 7, Section 6.
Experience at Home: Complete the Learning Opportunity worksheet concerning Chapter 7, Section 7 or be prepared for a Six Question quiz.
SCIENCE
In Class: Moon logs were filled in and drawings done. We did our first prediction. You will need to start predictions on your return. We finished the "Down on the Moon" activity and handed it in. See Mrs. Hanson for the information. We started taking notes on the moon. Outline sheet is attached for you.
Assignment: Moon logging and notes on the moon.
Journal: Get the information for the "Down on the Moon" activity.
