ALGEBRA
In Class: Handed in assignments and took the chapter 3 quiz.
Assignment: Read page 166-168, and do 1-13 on page 169.
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Filled out the planner for the week, handed back and recorded the assessment and assignment grades. Reviewed addition of fractions and decimals, introduced writing large numbers as scientific notation.
Assignment: Complete worksheet pages 1-2.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students handed in final drafts of descriptive essays.
In Class: We took a Johnny Tremain chapter 2-3 quiz. We began reading chapter 4 in play form in class.
Assignment: Students need to finish questions for chapters 1-3 in study guides! Grade Sheets were handed out and need a parent signature! Read your AR books! All points are due this Thursday.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: We completed a History frame regarding the Whiskey Rebellion.
Experience at Home: Complete the Learning Opportunity worksheet concerning Chapter 11, sections 4 & 5 or be prepared for a Six Question quiz regarding the same information.
SCIENCE
In Class: We finished the green "State of Matter" chart. Get it filled in from your partner or Mrs. Hanson. We took notes on matter, physical and chemical properties. See attached sheet. Cards were filled out for each person using our own physical properties. You will need to fill out your card.
Assignment: Matter chart, Notes to take, note card to fill out.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week.
