ALGEBRA
In Class: Reviewed for the chapter 3 test, organized assignments filled out the planner
for the week.
Assignment: Make corrections on assignments. On Tuesday we will hand in the
assignments and take the Chapter 3 test.
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Filled out the planner for the week, took notes on the divisibility rules.
Assignment: Study the divisibility rules for Tuesday.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students had a T/F quiz over chapters 5 & 6 of Johnny Tremain.
In Class: I read aloud a summary for Johnny Tremain's chapter 7. Then I read aloud the first 3 mini chapters (p. 157-170) of chapter 8 in Johnny Tremain, and students answered the study guide questions.
Assignment: Finish reading mini chapter 3 of Johnny Tremain's main chapter 8. Compete study guide questions. Start reading your AR books for 2nd quarter!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Our students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet concerning Chapter 12, Section 1. The map on page 162 of the History Alive! text book will be of great use in an attempt to complete this assignment.
Experience at Home: The students of Team 8-4 should either be prepared for a Six Question quiz or have the Learning Opportunity worksheet ready. Both options are regarding the information in Chapter 12, Section 1 and the map on page 162.
SCIENCE
In Class: We took notes on volume of regular and irregular shaped objects. Get the notes added to yours. We handed in the volume practice lab. Hand yours in. We reviewed how to find mass and use of the triple beam balances.
Assignment: Hand in your lab and get your notes.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week. See attached sheet.
