In Class: Handed in assignments and took the chapter 2 test.
Assignment: Hand in the assignments and make arrangements to come in to take the Chapter 2 test. Read page 132-134 and do 1-12 on page 135.
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Handed in assignments and took two assessments.
Assignment: Hand in assignments and make arrangements to take the assessments.
Students who need to retake the integer assessment see Mrs. West.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students organized trappers for Johnny Tremain unit and studied for introductory quiz.
In Class: We discussed correct vocabulary answers. We took quiz over the introductory packet. Students also received study guides for all chapters of Johnny Tremain. They must keep this throughout the entire novel!
Assignment: Read your AR books! All points are due at the end of the quarter.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: We rephrased the Preamble of the Constitution and began work on the Learning opportunity worksheet concerning Chapter 8, Sections 11-13.
Experience at Home: Complete the Learning opportunity worksheet concerning Chapter 8, Sections 11-13 or be prepared for a Six Question quiz regarding the same information.
SCIENCE
In Class: We reviewed "Catch Up" time and how to figure it for the moon rising time. We also took eclipse notes in the back of our journals. I attached a copy for you. We started working on the moon calendar. You will need to cut out your moons. I have some hints to help you get started.
Assignment: Work on the moon placements on the moon calendar.
Journal: See the attached sheet.
