ALGEBRA
In Class: Discussed solving multi-step equations involving the distributive property.
Assignment: Complete page 157, exercises (18 - 37 even, 44-46).
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Practiced graphing on a coordinate axis, graphing linear equations. Completed checked and handed in a review of graphing worksheet.
Assignment: Get the Review Graphing worksheet from Mrs. West if you were absent.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students wrote different lead ideas and similes in their journals. Please get this journal from Mrs. Micek if you were absent.
In Class: We revised our descriptive essay working on our leads and adding similes. We did vocabulary for chapter 3 in Johnny Tremain and discussed chapter 2.
Assignment: Students need to read chapter 3, mini chapters 1-2. Chapters 2 and 3 quiz tomorrow! Grade Sheets were handed out and need a parent signature! Read your AR books! All points are due next Thursday.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: We began work on the Chapter 10 reading notes.
Experience at Home: Complete the Chapter 10 reading notes.
SCIENCE
In Class: We started talking about "Matter". There was a discussion using the journal entries. We started the reading in the book. New lab partners were given also.
