Remember that ITBS tests will be given on Wednesday-Friday during periods 2, 3, 4, and 8. All students should report to their 3rd period class after QT. Late coupons were handed out during 2nd period classes today.
ALGEBRA
In Class: Answered questions from the assignment on pages 191-192 and worked on the Cumulative review.
Assignment: page 196-197, 1-57, be sure to show your work.
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Reviewed scientific notation for the assessment, handed in assignments, and review sheet.
Assignment: If you were absent be sure to hand in the assignment packet, review sheet and make arrangements to make up the assessment.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: We played a quiz game as a class over chapter 6, minis 1-3.
In Class: We read aloud the rest of chapter 6 in Johnny Tremain and answered the study guide questions. Study guides should be completed through chapter 6.
Assignment: Finish reading chapter 6 in Johnny Tremain and answer the study guide questions. Start reading your AR books for 2nd quarter!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Classes 2 & 3 reviewed the Big Kauhuna. Class 8 played Constitution Jeopardy.
Experience at Home: Get plenty of sleep for the ITBS.
SCIENCE
In Class: Volume of regular and irregular shaped objects was finished today. We compared answers and talked about why you would need two ways to find volume.
Assignment: Finish the lab on volume. Come in to use the materials.
