In Class: Returned and recoded the chapter 3 test. Introduced graphing on a
coordinate plane.
Assignment: Page 206-207, 10-26 even, 27-32
PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Used the divisibility rules to list the factors and give the prime factorization.
Assignment: Page 223 exercises 2-30 even, 36
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students wrote a journal on literary terms pertaining to Johnny Tremain.
In Class: Students saw their second term grades today. We discussed chapter 8 and took a quiz over chapter 8. We summarized chapter 9 and answered all study guide questions for this chapter.
Assignment: Make sure all study guide questions are finished through chapter 9 for Johnny Tremain. Start reading your AR books for 2nd quarter!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Our students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet concerning Chapter 12, Sections 5 & 6.
Experience at Home: The students of Team 8-4 should either be prepared for a Six Question quiz or have the Learning Opportunity worksheet ready. Both options are regarding the information in Chapter 12, Sections 5 & 6.
SCIENCE
In Class: Density of Matter lab was finished. You will need to get the second sheet from Mrs. Hanson and get your numbers transferred. Check your density with Mrs. Hanson or your partner. We will be graphing tomorrow and you will need your density numbers.
Assignment: Get caught up on the lab.
