In Class: Worked on corrections over the assignment, and worked on WS 5-7.
Assignment: Complete worksheet page 5-7 over addition and subtraction of fractions. Be sure to show the work.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: We wrote a journal about sentence structure, prepositional phrases, and
infinitives.
In Class: We handed in yesterday's homework and took a quiz over helping verbs. We discussed compound sentences, added to our green card today, and practiced them on our homework
Assignment: Students have a compound sentence formula worksheet due tomorrow! The spelling quiz is on Friday. Read your AR books for 2nd quarter!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Our students started work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 14, Section 7.
Experience at Home: Be prepared for a Six Question quiz or have the Chapter 14, Section 7 completed to turn in.
SCIENCE
In Class: We worked on the yellow review sheets to get ready for the written assessment which will be given on Monday. We took the Density Lab Test today!! You need to come in and get that done.
