Pre Algebra
In Class: Organized assignments to be handed in on Tuesday.
Assignment: Used class time to review solving equations using dry eraser boards.
ALGEBRA Reviewed the best fitting line, and started completing a Chapter 5 expectations sheet.
Assignment: No assignment.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students wrote a journal with specific themes for A Christmas Carol. You must get this from Mrs. Micek if you were absent.
In Class: Students listened to the rest of Stave 3, A Christmas Carol, and worked on study packet questions. They also did a Point of View worksheet
Assignment: Students will have a Stave 2-3 quiz tomorrow! Bring signed grade sheets back!! Students may begin working on their Christmas Carol projects. These are to be done outside of class. Read your AR books for 2nd quarter.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Our students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 16, sections 8 & 9.
Experience at Home: Students should be prepared for a 6 Question quiz or have the learning Opportunity correct and complete.
SCIENCE
In Class: Element research was finished and word processing started. All word processing documents need to be finished and handed in. We started putting brochure templates into folders. I will help you get that done.
Assignment: Get out and look at the stars. Keep up on element research.
Journal: See attached sheet.
