Pre Algebra
In Class: Handed in assignments and took notes on words or phases which mean add,
subtract, multiply, divide and equal.
Assignment: Complete the word problems by writing the equation, solve and check.
ALGEBRA
In class : Introduced point-slope form of an equation, completed the note.
Assignment: Complete page 303, exercises 18-26 even, 30-34, 39-41, 57-59.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students watched Stave 3 on DVD today.
Assignment: Students will have a Stave 2-3 quiz tomorrow and hand in Stave 3 study packets! Students may begin working on their Christmas Carol projects. These are to be done outside of class. Read your AR books for 2nd quarter.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: We analyzed the poem Eldorado as it relates to the concept of Manifest Destiny.
Experience at Home: Enlighten someone with you analysis of Eldorado.
SCIENCE
In Class: Templates were put into your folders for the brochures. Word processing documents were finished, printed, and handed in. Schedule time to get caught up.
Assignment: Get out and look at the stars. Keep up on element research.
Journal: All word processing should be done and handed in.
