In Class: Handed in assignments and took the assessment 8.2.3a.
Assignment: Hand in assignments and make arrangements to take the assessment if you were absent.
ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed solving linear systems by using substitution.
Assignment: On page 408-409 complete exercises 18-26 even, 48-51.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students took their spelling 3 quiz today and filled out AR log.
In Class: Students peer edited each others’ sample writing assessments. They also worked on a sentence worksheet.
Assignment: Sentence worksheet is due on Monday. Students should be reading AR books for 3rd quarter points and categories. Spelling 3 will quiz will be Friday. State writing assessment is January 29-30!!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students worked on Bonus/Money in the Bank assignment regarding the factory system.
Experience at Home: The work was completed in class today.
SCIENCE
In Class: We finished the conclusions and notes from the chemical reactions lab. Notes were taken on the characteristics of a compound.
Assignment: Get the notes from your partner or Mrs. Hanson.
