Pre Algebra
In Class: Filled out the planner for the week, used proportions to solve story
problems, and reviewed the vocabulary (ratio, rate and unit rate).
Assignment: Complete the Ratio Proportion worksheet. Write a proportion for each story problem, use cross products and solve for the answer.
ALGEBRA
In class: Fill out the planner for the week, organized assignments to be handed in tomorrow and reviewed for the chapter 6 test.
Assignment: Make corrections and study for the test.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students reviewed their 3rd KPS spelling assessment list today.
In Class: Students wrote the first draft of a sample writing assessment for the state writing assessment next week.
Assignment: Students should be reading AR books for 3rd quarter points and categories. Spelling 3 will quiz will be Friday.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students discussed the vocabulary words segregation, discrimination, prejudice, and racism.
Experience at Home: It is History Homework Free Monday.
SCIENCE
In Class: Physical/Chemical Changes lab done today. Come in and do the lab work.
Assignment: Lab to do. Papers to pick up on the side counter.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week. Double check your observations from Friday for today’s lab.
