Parent teacher sign up forms were handed out Monday morning in second period class and should be returned as soon as possible.
Pre Algebra
In Class: Filled out the planner, returned and recorded packet and assessment grades
on page 19 of the planner. Introduced changing fractions to their equivalent decimal
and percent.
Assignment: Complete page 332 exercises 1-27.
ALGEBRA
In class: Filled out the planner, returned and recorded assignments, and introduced solving linear systems by linear combinations. Reviewed solving linear systems by using substitution. We also organized assignments to be handed in tomorrow.
Assignment: On page 414 do 13-35 odd
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students looked at spelling 4 words for the week.
In Class: Students looked at Mrs. Micek’s comments on their final drafts of sample essays and discussed writing assessment for tomorrow. They also handed in their sentence worksheet.
Assignment: Students should be reading AR books for 3rd quarter points and categories. Spelling 4 will quiz will be Friday. State writing assessment is January 29-30!!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students worked on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 21, sections 4 & 5.
Experience at Home: Complete the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 21, sections 4 & 5 or be prepared for a Six Question quiz regarding the same information.
SCIENCE
In Class: Lab sheets were handed back. Review sheets were handed out. Work on your review sheet so you can ask questions by Wed. They are due on Thurs. We worked on balancing equations today. Look at the attached sheets.
Assignment: Fill out your planner for the week. Assessment on Thursday.
