ALGEBRA
In class: Organized assignments to be handed in on Friday before the quiz
Assignment: Finish making corrections on the assignments and study for the quiz.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Wrote a journal about compound sentences using their spelling words.
In Class: Students worked in groups to evaluate writing samples using the descriptive writing rubric from the state. We discussed why papers scored differently. Students are to web a prompt for Friday.
Assignment: Students should begin reading AR books for 3rd quarter points and categories. Webs are due on Friday. Spelling quiz on Friday.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 18, Sections 1 & 2.
Experience at Home: Be prepared for a Six Questions quiz or have the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 18, Sections 1 & 2 complete.
SCIENCE
In Class: We reviewed symbols and interesting facts about some of the elements. Brochure Tour for elements families and uses continued.
Assignment: Study your symbols. Stay caught up on your uses and family sheet.
Journal: See attached sheet.
