Pre Algebra
In Class: Took the Orleans Hanna Algebra Prognosis test.
Assignment: Finish the Ratio Proportion worksheet BB-32. Write a proportion for each story problem, use cross products and solve for the answer.
ALGEBRA
In class: Introduced solving linear systems by using substitution.
Assignment: On page 408-409 complete exercises 14-16, 17-27 odd, 42.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students listened to classmates’ introductions today and discussed them. We filled out personal goal sheets for writing assessment and finished self-evaluations of sample writing assessment.
Assignment: Students should be reading AR books for 3rd quarter points and categories. Spelling 3 will quiz will be Friday. State writing assessment is January 29-30!!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students worked on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 21, sections 2 & 3.
Experience at Home: Complete the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 21, sections 2 & 3 or be prepared for a Six Question quiz regarding the same information.
SCIENCE
In Class: Conclusion questions were started on the chemical reaction lab from Wed. We did the reading in the book on pages 39-41. Check out a book and get caught up on the vocabulary words.
Assignment: Reading to do.
Journal: We worked on the two conclusion questions.
