Pre Algebra
In Class: Grade sheets were handed out on Tuesday in class, students getting parent signatures and returned on Friday will get a 90%. Reviewed changing between fractions, decimals and percents, organizing fraction, decimals and percents by size and using proportions to solve percent story problems.
Assignment: Complete the worksheet page that was handed out in class today and finish making corrections on this week’s assignment.
ALGEBRA

ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students played sparkle to review spelling 4 words for tomorrow’s quiz.
In Class: Students reviewed sentence formulas on overhead. Students worked in partner groups on a review assignment for Friday.
Assignment: Sentence formula worksheet due Friday. Sentence formula test on Monday. Students should be reading AR books for 3rd quarter points and categories. Spelling 4 will quiz will be Friday. State writing assessment is January 29-30!!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students worked on the Learning Opportunity concerning the Underground Railroad (it was neither underground nor a railroad).
Experience at Home: Complete the Learning Opportunity concerning the Underground Railroad or be prepared for a Six Question quiz regarding the same information.
SCIENCE
In Class: Assessment on Compounds and Chemical Reactions taken today. Both review sheets were handed in.
