In class: Reviewed solving absolute value inequalities. Introduced graphing inequalities.
Assignment: Complete page 363; 16-42 even.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students reviewed simple, compound, and complex sentences in an
activity.
In Class: Students practiced working on complex sentence formulas. We also finished working on Idea revisions packets.
Assignment: Complex sentence worksheet and Idea packets are due tomorrow. Students should begin reading AR books for 3rd quarter points and categories. Spelling 2 will quiz will be Friday.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 19, sections 4 & 5.
Experience at Home: Be prepared for a Six Questions quiz or have the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 19, sections 4 & 5.
SCIENCE
In Class: We took the element quiz today. Schedule a time to get it done. We finished the activity on element uses and handed it in also. Get yours in. We started working on the class periodic table list.
