In Class: Reviewed unit rates, writing proportions, and using cross products to solve.
Assignment: Complete the Ratio Proportion worksheet BB-32. Write a proportion for each story problem, use cross products and solve for the answer.
ALGEBRA
In class: Handed in assignments, completed the vocabulary pretest and took the Chapter 6 test.
Assignment: Read page 398-400.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students wrote the final draft of a sample writing assessment for the state writing assessment next week.
Assignment: Students should be reading AR books for 3rd quarter points and categories. Spelling 3 will quiz will be Friday.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students worked on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 20, sections 4 through 7.
Experience at Home: Complete the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 20, sections 4 through 7 or be prepared for a Six Question quiz regarding the same information.
SCIENCE
In Class: We did the conclusion questions from yesterday’s lab. Examples were given for physical and chemical changes. See Mrs. Hanson to finish your questions.
Assignment: Conclusion questions were finished and the lab handed in.
