In Class: Continued working with simple interest and story problems involving simple interest.
Assignment: Finish making corrections on assignments and the Simple Interest Review Worksheet to hand in on Tuesday (10 problems)
ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed the powers of zero and negative powers and the graphing of exponential growth and decline.
Assignment: Complete page 459 exercises 14-60 even.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students did an exercise in the use of irony.
In Class: Students took a quiz over the spelling 6 list. They finished their rough drafts, turned in “Bargain” homework, and took a “Ransom” quiz.
Assignment: Finish any of the above three items. Students need to read their AR books for 3rd quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students watched part four of Glory and completed the 3-2-1 worksheet in class.
Experience at Home: Students that missed any part of Glory will need to arrange a time after school to view the movie and complete the work.
SCIENCE
In Class: Crystals were put together today in 8th period after the Arch trip. Pick up a lab sheet from the side counter. Your partner put your solution together. Mineral worksheets were handed in.
Assignment: Hand in your mineral worksheet.
