In Class: Returned and recorded packet grades on page 19 of the planner.
Continued using proportions to solve percent story problems. Reviewed using a graph to solve story problems.
Assignment: Complete the story problem worksheet, show the proportion, cross-product and give the answer labeled to the nearest tenth.
ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed solving systems of inequalities through graphing.

ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students went to the book fair to check out the selections.
In Class: Students turned in grade sheets for a grade. We took a spelling 5 assessment. Students played a review game dealing with elements of a short story. We then took a quiz over the elements of a short story.
Assignment: GRADE SHEETS CAN STILL BE TURNED IN MONDAY and TUESDAY FOR A GRADE. Students need to read their AR books for 3rd quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the No End in Sight Learning Opportunity worksheet.
Experience at Home: Be prepared for a Six Question quiz or have the No End in Sight Learning Opportunity worksheet completed.
SCIENCE
In Class: The students finished the pre-reading activity on rock and minerals. We read and highlighted the properties worksheet and discussed how the lab will run on Monday.
Assignment: See Mrs. Hanson for make up.
Journal: Identify the difference between a rock and a mineral. List 4 ways to classify rocks and minerals.
