In Class: Introduction to Simple Interest. Went through parts of the Simple Interest Formula and worked example worksheet together.

Period 2: Worksheet P71; 1-10 on front
Period 3: Worksheet P71-72; 1-10 on front, 1-4 on back, 5-6 for extra credit
Period 4: Worksheet P71-72; 1-10 on front, 1,2,4,5 on back, 3 and 6 for extra credit
ALGEBRA
In class: Continued working with multiplication properties of exponents.
Assignment: Pg 453; 22-62 even, 63-76
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students looked over spelling 6 words and played a review literary term
game.
In Class: Students read the short story “Bargain” on page 20 in their literature books. They also filled out a lit term worksheet. This is due tomorrow
Assignment: “Bargain” story worksheets are due on Tuesday if you did not finish in class. Students need to read their AR books for 3rd quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students watched part one of Glory and completed the story pyramid.
Experience at Home: Students that missed part one of Glory will need to arrange a time after school to view the movie and complete the work.
SCIENCE
In Class: We listed uses for the minerals we tested. We also added a few new minerals to the list. Get the notes from Mrs. Hanson or your partner. We talked about the eclipse of the moon coming up on Wednesday.
Assignment: Get your notes and mineral information.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week. List five minerals we use in our homes from the “Minerals at Home” handout. (on the side counter.)
