Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed simple interest and story problems in preparation for Tuesday’s quiz, filled out the planner for the week and finished organizing assignments.
Assignment: Finish making corrections on assignments and the Simple Interest Review Worksheet to hand in on Tuesday (10 problems).
ALGEBRA
In class: Filled out the planner for the week and organized assignments to be handed in on Tuesday. Reviewed the power properties and the power of zero and negative powers as well as the graphing of exponential growth and decline.
Assignment: Make corrections on assignments to be handed in on Tuesday and review for the chapter 8 quiz.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students went over spelling 7 list.
In Class: Students did a proofreading/revising activity for their persuasive paragraphs. The final is due tomorrow. We listened to “Tell-Tale Heart” on tape. This is on page 132 in text. The story map is due tomorrow.
Assignment: The “Tell-Tale Heart” story map is due tomorrow. Students need to read their AR books for 3rd quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students watched the conclusion of Glory and completed the A-B-C reaction worksheet in class.
Experience at Home: Students that missed any part of Glory will need to arrange a time after school to view the movie and complete the work.
SCIENCE
In Class: We looked at our crystals today. Crystal worksheets were finished. We will take notes on crystals tomorrow.
Assignment: Come in and look at the crystals.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week. Any mineral worksheets not in must be turned in ASAP.
