Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed fractions/decimals/percents and took KPS Assessment 8.1.2.
Assignment: No new assignment. Finish any corrections on homework. Assignments will be handed in tomorrow.
ALGEBRA
In class: Filled out the planner for the week, returned and recorded assignments and quiz grades. Introduced solving systems with no solutions or an infinite number of solutions.
Assignment: Complete 429-430 exercises 12-17, 19-27 odd, 31-33.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students discussed list of spelling 5 words today.
In Class: Students took their sentence formula test today! We will begin a short story unit next.
Assignment: Students should be reading AR books for 3rd quarter points and categories. Spelling 4 will quiz will be Friday.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students worked on the Learning Opportunity concerning the outbreak of the Civil War.
Experience at Home: Complete the Learning Opportunity concerning the outbreak of the Civil War or be prepared for a Six Question quiz regarding the same information.
SCIENCE
In Class: Assessments were handed back. Ask to see yours. We put our graded papers into our portfolio folders. See the list on the back board. We reviewed the “Constellation of the Month” information as well as the Astronomy terms worksheet. We will hand those back in tomorrow. Yours is on the side counter.
Assignment: Any assessments that need to be taken. Portfolio folders filled.
