Continued using proportions to solve percent problems. Completed page 340 exercises 9-23 odd, and 28-32. Copy the percent problem, write a proportion, and use cross-products to solve.
Assignment: Complete worksheet Practice 7-3, show the proportion, cross-product and give the answer to the nearest tenth.
ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed solving systems of inequalities through graphing.
Assignment: Complete Practice worksheet 7-6
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students reviewed their spelling words by taking a pre-test (not for grade).
In Class: Students turned in grade sheets for a grade. We reviewed the elements of a short story using the outline they filled out using the literature book (p.145-148).
Assignment: GRADE SHEETS CAN STILL BE TURNED IN TOMORROW FOR A GRADE. Spelling 5 and quiz on literary terms tomorrow.
