Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed using proportions to solve percent story problems. Used a histogram graph to calculate percentages. Finished working in groups and completed group percent worksheet from Monday. Organized Assignments.
Assignment: Finish/Make corrections on any of the assignments that will be turned in tomorrow. Tomorrow we will have a quick review and take KPS Assessment 8.2.3b over calculating percents and percent story problems.
ALGEBRA
In class: Handed in assignments and took the chapter 7 test.
Assignment: No assignment.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students wrote in their journals about personification, simile, and titles.
In Class: Students turned in grade sheets for a grade. We graded our elements of a short story quiz. We reviewed the plot line of “Path” and read “A Man Who Had No Eyes.”
Assignment: Students need to read their AR books for 3rd quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students watched a video concerning the battle between the Ironclads.
Experience at Home: There is no history homework tonight.
SCIENCE
In Class: We finished testing minerals and keyed out their names. Pick up a key sheet from Mrs. Hanson.
Assignment: finish testing and start keying out names.
