ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students took a partner foreshadowing quiz over the short story “Bargain.” You need to make this up if you were not here.
In Class: Students discussed the short story “Bargain” and did a literary elements worksheet for this story. This is due tomorrow. A persuasive writing paragraph was assigned. The rough draft is due on Thursday and the final draft is due on Monday.
Assignment: “Bargain” literary element story worksheet is due on Wednesday if you did not finish in class. Students need to read their AR books for 3rd quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students watched part two of Glory and completed the scene map in class.
Experience at Home: Students that missed any part of Glory will need to arrange a time after school to view the movie and complete the work.
SCIENCE
In Class: Mineral worksheet was done using the book and all of the mineral information we have collected in class. Pick up a worksheet from the side counter and a handout of the book reading from Mrs. Hanson.
