In Class: Assignments were handed in and students completed a quiz and a assessment today in class.
Assignment: No assignment, if you were absent please make arrangement to take the quiz and assessment. Hand in your assignments.
ALGEBRA
In class: Returned and recorded the Chapter 8 assignments, checked the review worksheet for the KHS assessment.
Assignment: Complete the assessment.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: We wrote a journal on prior knowledge of holocaust and Ann Frank.
In Class: Students discussed holocaust and began watching the VHS of “We Must Never Forget: The Story of the Holocaust” in class. The students are working on a worksheet with the video.
Assignment: Students handed in dialogue worksheet today. Spelling Quiz #9 on Friday. Begin reading your AR books for 4th quarter.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 23, section 5.
Experience at Home: Students should have the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 23, section 5 or be prepared for a Six Question quiz.
SCIENCE
In Class: We did a web on the 3 theories of explaining the earth’s movement. We also started working on our coloring pictures for the plate activity on Friday.
Assignment: Get the web and notes for it from Mrs. Hanson or your partner. Pick up a coloring picture from the side counter.
Journal: No entry
