In Class: Reviewed area equivalents, and used the unit rates on your yellow information sheet to change to equivalent rates, or units of measure. We organized assignments to be handed in on Thursday before the assessment.

ALGEBRA
In class: Handed in the chapter 8 assignments and took the Chapter 8 Test.
Assignment: No assignment.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Passed back 8.1.4 and reviewed AR points.
In Class: Watched the DVD of “To Build a Fire” in class.
Assignment: Spelling Quiz #9 on Friday.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 23, sections 1 & 2.
Experience at Home: Students should have the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 23, sections 1 & 2 or be prepared for a Six Question quiz.
SCIENCE
In Class: Papers were handed back and final grades were given. Your papers are on the side counter. We started the “Find It” map today. Pick up a map and a find it sheet from the side counter. We will finish it on Wed.
Assignment: Get the symbols needed for the map on your “Find It” sheet. Mrs. Hanson has them or your partner does.
