Pre Algebra
In Class: Students quizzed each other on measurement equivalents. A quiz was completed and checked to find out which you need to study for the dimensional analysis assessment tomorrow. Finished organizing assignments to be handed in on Thursday.
Assignment: Use your assignments to study for the dimensional analysis assessment, study the measurement equivalents you need to know and make corrections in the packet.
ALGEBRA
In class: Returned and recorded the Chapter 8 test, reviewed for the KHS assessment using dry eraser boards.
Assignment: Complete the assessment review worksheet.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: We discussed dialogue rules and received a handout.
In Class: Students finished watching the DVD of “To Build a Fire” in class. The dialogue writing assignment for “To Build a Fire” is due tomorrow.
Assignment: Dialogue writing assignment is due tomorrow. Spelling Quiz #9 on Friday. Begin reading your AR books for 4th quarter.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 23, sections 4.
Experience at Home: Students should have the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 23, section 4 or be prepared for a Six Question quiz.
SCIENCE
In Class: We finished the “Find It” maps. We added direction arrows to the maps to help clarify movement.
Assignment: Finish your placements on your map and add the arrows. See Mrs. Hanson for directions.
