Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed the circumference and area of a circle, and introduced calculating the diameter and radius given the circumference. Get the notes if you were absent.
Assignment: Complete page 419 exercises 10-24, on 16-24 find the circumference and area for each exercise. Be sure to show your work, use pi as 3.14. Be sure to give the formula, substitution and answer rounded to the nearest hundredth for each problem. You will need your math book on Friday.
ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed the vocabulary for polynomials before taking today’s quiz. Assignments were handed in today.
Assignment: Read pages 597-599 then on page 600 complete exercises 1-3.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students’ vocab sheets were stamped if they were finished!!
In Class: Students finished reading scenes 4-5 in Anne Frank today. The characterization worksheet and questions were assigned. Students worked on these in class.
Assignment: Scenes 4-5 questions due tomorrow. Read your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet regarding Chapter 26.7.
Experience at Home: Be ready for a Six Question quiz concerning the information from Chapter 26.7 or have the Learning Opportunity worksheet complete.
SCIENCE
In Class: We did reading and labeling of the Igneous rock family after identifying the correct families for all the rock samples.
Assignment: Finish the rock labeling and do the reading out of the book.
