Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed the circumference of a circle, and introduced calculating the perimeter of odd shapes.

Assignment: Be sure to show your work, use pi as 3.14. Be sure to give the formula, substitution and answer rounded to the nearest hundredth for each problem. Show your work on a separate sheet of paper.

ALGEBRA
In class: Introduced solving factored equations, and graphed quadratic equations.
Assignment: Read pages 600, 20-26 even, 34-40 even, 44-54 all.

ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students worked on themes for the play and matching to events/character.
In Class: Students turned in vocabulary packet and questions from scenes 4+5. They also took a quiz over Act I.
Assignment: No assignment. Keep reading your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points.

The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet regarding Chapter 27.1 and 27.2.
Experience at Home: Be ready for a Six Question quiz concerning the information from Chapter 27.1 and 27.2 or have the Learning Opportunity worksheet complete.

SCIENCE
In class: We did a discussion on the Sedimentary family and how it is formed. A weathering demonstration was done to see how sediments form. Get the definition for weathering and erosion.
Assignment: Come in and do the lab. There is a form to fill out and turn in.
Journal: We double-checked the uses for the Igneous Family before moving on to the next family.
