In Class: Reviewed triangles, quadrilaterals and other polygons.
Assignment: Complete the two sided worksheet reviewing polygons and perimeter.
ALGEBRA
In class: Handed in assignments, took the quiz, and introduced solving quadratic equations using graphing.
Assignment: Read section 9.4 and complete exercises 1-6 of the assignment.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students finished working on character webs and we discussed them as review for the quiz.
In Class: Students took a quiz on the “Franks Go into Hiding” and “Who are the People” nonfiction articles. Students began watching a Holocaust video entitled “If You Cried, You Died.”
Assignment: Read your AR books for 4th quarter.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students worked on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 24, sections 8 and 9.
Experience at Home: Be prepared for the Six Questions quiz regarding the information from Chapter 24, sections 8 and 9.
SCIENCE
In Class: Plate Tectonics lab was done after reviewing the new vocabulary from yesterday on the different boundary types and how they move. We went over what the lithosphere is and the asthenosphere.
Assignment: Come in and get the lab done.
