Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed perimeter and area of parallelograms, triangles, and trapezoids.
Assignment: Signed grade sheets for students who were absent a day this week may be handed in on Monday. Complete area and perimeter review worksheet. Be sure to read the directions carefully and show your work on a separate sheet of paper. Write the formula, substitute in the numbers, and get the labeled answer.
ALGEBRA
In class: Signed grade sheet for students who were absent a day this week may be handed in on Monday. Introduced polynomials, including the addition and subtraction of polynomials.
Assignment: Page 580 exercises 19-61, every third problem.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students took a compound quiz. You must come in and take this if you were absent!!
In Class: Grade sheets were collected. Students read aloud scene 3 in Anne Frank. We answered questions over scenes 1-3 evens or odds. These are due on Monday.
Assignment: Anne Frank questions due Monday. Read your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet regarding Chapter 26.3.
Experience at Home: Be ready for a Six Question quiz concerning the information from Chapter 26.3 or have the Learning Opportunity worksheet complete.
SCIENCE
In Class: We took the assessment on the parts of the earth and plate tectonics. Review sheets were picked up, the yellow and white ones.
Assignment: Assessment to take. All review material is due.
Journal: We studied for ten minutes and worked on the review sheet.
