In Class: Filled out the planner for the week. Reviewed our notes for surface area of prisms and cylinders. Used dry eraser boards to practice calculating surface area.
Assignment: Complete worksheet 8-4 be sure to give the formula, substitute, and then give your answer to the nearest hundredth.
ALGEBRA
In class: Reviewed factoring quadratic equations, practiced factoring and graphing
Using dry eraser boards. Handed in assignments and took the test.
Assignment: Make arrangements to take the quiz and hand in assignments.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students looked at SRI scores and went over their local scores for the state writing assessments. Students who needed to retake 8.1.4 did so and other students did make up assessments. We will be starting the novel, Gentlehands tomorrow. !
Assignment: Keep reading your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Students worked on the Learning Opportunity worksheet regarding chapter 28.6 to 28.7.
Experience at Home: We will complete the Chapter 28.6 to 28.7 Learning Opportunity worksheet on Monday.
SCIENCE
In class: Rock Cycle Outline notes were done for a quiz grade. You will need all of your rock family materials to fill it out. Papers were handed back. Yours are on the side counter.
Assignment: Get our outline done and handed in.
