Pre Algebra
In Class: Get your grade sheet signed by a parent for a 80% on Friday. Introduced the area of a trapezoid.
Assignment: Your assignment is to find the area of triangles and trapezoids. Be sure to read the directions carefully and show your work on a separate sheet of paper. Write the formula, substitute in the numbers, and get the labeled answer.
ALGEBRA
In class: Signed grade sheets that are returned on Friday receive 80%. Took the chapter 9 test on Thursday, and handed in assignments.
Assignment: Read 10.1 and do exercises 1-4.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Grade sheets were collected. Students read aloud scene 3 in Anne Frank. We will finish reading this scene Friday.
Assignment: Read your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the worksheet for Chapter 26.
Experience at Home: Bring the worksheet for Chapter 26 to class. It will be due at the end of class Friday.
SCIENCE
In Class: We worked on the yellow review sheets. All questions were asked and answered. Use your picture notes to help you fill it out. We worked on a practice assessment including a map to name the plates. I included this for you. Study for the assessment.
Assignment: Review sheets due tomorrow!! Study for the assessment!!
Journal: Big week this week with review sheets and assessment on Plate Tectonics on Friday!!!
