Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed quadrilaterals and took notes on regular polygons.
Assignment: Complete page 399 exercises 1-10, page 403 exercises 1-5.
ALGEBRA
In class: Organized assignments to be handed in on Wednesday. Reviewed simplifying radicals, solving equations, and graphing quadratic formulas using the dry eraser board.
Assignment: Make corrections on the assignments and study for the quiz.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students did a “Book Look” with several Holocaust books today.
In Class: Students finished and graded the outline on “Franks Go into Hiding.” Students started character webs for “Who are the People” article. There will be a quiz over these two articles tomorrow. Students are to read “Who are the People.”
Assignment: “Franks” and “Who” quiz Wednesday. Read your AR books for 4th quarter.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students worked on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 24, sections 6 and 7.
Experience at Home: Be prepared for the Six Questions quiz regarding the information from Chapter 24, sections 6 and 7.
SCIENCE
In Class: We finished the reading in the book on Plate Tectonics. The web was finished on support of each theory. A six question quiz was taken to check for understanding of the “Find It” map and its’ features. We started labeling the names of the boundaries between the plates. There is a pink sheet on the side counter for you to pick up.
Assignment: Do the reading in the book. (pgs. 284-288) Finish the web on the theories.
Journal: Six question quiz taken.
