Pre Algebra
In Class: Get your grade sheet signed by a parent for a 95% on Wednesday. Took notes on the perimeter and area of triangles. Use your notes as a guide on today’s assignments.
Assignment: On page 415 show your work like the notes to find the perimeter and area on exercises 17-24, then answer #25.
ALGEBRA
In class: Signed grade sheets that are returned on Wednesday receive 95%. Worked on the chapter review in preparation for the chapter 9 test on Thursday.
Assignment: Complete page 562 do 1-13, 18-20, 24-26, pick up a piece of graph paper if you were absent.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: We read article about careers for the person interested in the outdoors/adventure.
In Class: Grade sheets were collected. Students wrote in journal, creating 2 compound sentences using 2 words from glossary vocab sheet. Anne Frank vocab sheet (scenes 1-3) was stamped while the students wrote in journals. Quiz on “Elements of Drama” was given. We then read scene 1 and part of scene 2 from The Diary of Anne Frank.

The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 25, Sections 4 & 5.
Experience at Home: Be prepared for a Six Question quiz regarding Chapter 25, Sections 4 & 5 or complete the Learning Opportunity worksheet.
SCIENCE
In Class: We finished up the parts of the earth pictures with four facts for each layer. These included the lithosphere and asthenosphere. We started working on the Plate Tectonics worksheet. You need to finish through number 9 for tomorrow.
Assignment: Get started on the tectonic worksheet.
Journal: Big week this week with review sheets and assessment on Plate Tectonics.
