Assignment: Complete page 622-623 exercises 18-62 even, 63-72.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Answer these questions in your journal: What does Buddy realize about his father (p.3)? What’s the problem between Buddy’s mom and her father? and How are the Boyles typical? Different?
In Class: Filled out an example for #3 on the literary terms list, went over the questions and answers for Ch. 1 in the guide. Read Ch. 2 and did the guide.
Assignment: Finish reading Gentlehands through ch. 4. There will be a quiz tomorrow for Ch. 1-4. Keep reading your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Students completed the Learning Opportunity worksheet regarding chapter 28.8 to 28.9.
Experience at Home: We began work on our own political cartoons.
SCIENCE
In class: We went over the soil profile information from yesterday. Be sure your questions are all answered and the profile is colored. We took a six question quiz on types of weathering. We also went to the lab and started looking at our soils.
Assignment: Questions to finish, quiz to take, and soil to look at.
