Pre Algebra
In Class: Get your grade sheet signed by a parent for a 90% on Thursday. Reviewed notes on the perimeter and area of parallelograms and triangles. Use your notes as a guide on today’s assignments.
Assignment: Complete worksheet P96. Show your work as shown on the notes given on Monday and Tuesday.
ALGEBRA
In class: Signed grade sheets that are returned on Thursday receive 90%. Reviewed for the chapter 9 test on Thursday, and organized assignments to be handed in before the test.
Assignment: Make corrections in the packet and study for the chapter 9 test.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students could work on homework.
In Class: Grade sheets were collected. Students wrote at least 3 sentences in journal, one of which had to be a compound sentence, describing events so far in Anne Frank. We then reviewed vocabulary words in their packets. We continued reading The Diary of Anne Frank, through scene 2 and beginning scene 3.
Assignment: None
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: The students began work on the Learning Opportunity worksheet for Chapter 25, Sections 6 & 7.
Experience at Home: Be prepared for a Six Question quiz regarding Chapter 25, Sections 6 & 7 or complete the Learning Opportunity worksheet.
SCIENCE
In Class: Plate Tectonic worksheets were finished, checked, and handed in. Keep working on the yellow review sheets which we will work with on Thursday.
Assignment: Finish 10-17 of tectonic worksheet and hand it in.
Journal: Big week this week with review sheets and assessment on Plate Tectonics on Friday!!!
