Pre Algebra
In Class: Used dry eraser boards to practice surface area. Reviewed the surface area formulas.
Assignment: Finish worksheet 9-4 B, and worksheet 9-5. Be sure to give the formula, substitution, and your answer to the nearest hundredth.
ALGEBRA
In class: Worked on factoring questions then worked on the chapter review.
Assignment: Complete page 634-636 exercises 1-30.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students did a journal over Mr. Boyle’s reaction during dinner in Chap 6.
In Class: Discussed chapter 6 and broke into groups to reviwe chapters 1-6. We read chapter 7 aloud in class. Read Ch. 8-9 and do the guide.
Assignment: Finish reading Gentlehands through ch.8-9 and do yellow packet. Keep reading your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Students started the Learning Opportunity worksheet regarding chapter 29.3.
Experience at Home: We will complete the Learning Opportunity worksheet regarding chapter 29.3 in class Monday.
SCIENCE
In class: We went to the lab today and started the information on soils and sediments. Sheets are attached for you. We will finish up on Monday.
