Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed volume of prisms, cylinders, pyramids and cones.
Assignment: Complete the Assessment Review Worksheet which was handed out during class. Answers were given so students could check their work. Be sure to give the formula, substitution, and your answer labeled in cubic units.
ALGEBRA
In class: Returned the chapter 10 test with bonus points. Introduced adding, subtracting, and multiplying square roots.
Assignment: Complete page 719 exercises 18-50 even.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students cleaned out trappers and received Gentlehands’ quizzes.
In Class: We discussed chapter 18 in class and read chapter 19 aloud. Students took a quiz over 17-19. Students worked on completing yellow packets.
Assignment: Gentlehands test is Thursday. Keep reading your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points. Final day to take AR tests is May 19!!!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Students linking the vocabulary words with
historical sentences.
Experience at Home: Prepare for Big Kahauna IV.
SCIENCE
In class: We discussed the importance of soil and conservation practices. The worksheet started yesterday using the book was finished and turned in. We took notes on four points of soil importance.
Assignment: Soil conservation worksheet due. Get the soil notes. Keep working on your review sheet for the assessment which is on Thursday.
