Pre Algebra
In Class: Introduced the volume of a triangular prism and pyramid.
Assignment: Complete worksheet exercises 1-13 that was handed out during class. Answers were given so students could check their work. Be sure to give the formula, substitution, and your answer labeled in cubic units.
ALGEBRA
In class: Returned the chapter 10 test with bonus points. Introduced adding, subtracting, and multiplying square roots.
Assignment: Complete page 719 exercises 19-51 odd.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students worked in pairs to do an Advice Activity for Gentlehands. They presented it to the class.
In Class: Students took a quiz over chapters 14-16. We read chapter 17 aloud in class. Read chap.18 for Tuesday.
Assignment: Finish reading Gentlehands through ch.17-18 and do yellow packet. Keep reading your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points. Final day to take AR tests is May 19!!!

SCIENCE
In class: Nebraska Maps questions and terms were discussed. We talked about the Ogallala Aquifer and its’ importance. We started working on soil conservation. Review sheets were handed out for the assessment which will be on Thursday.
Assignment: Start working on your review sheet. Start working on the soil conservation worksheet. Hand in your Nebraska map, completed front and back.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week.
