In Class: Filled out the planner for the week. Used dry eraser boards to practice surface area to review for the assessment.
Assignment: Know the formulas for the surface area of rectangular prisms, cubes, and square pyramids. Make corrections in your packet and be prepared to hand it in on Tuesday before the assessment.
ALGEBRA
In class: Filled out the planner for the week. Worked on factoring questions from the review then used dry eraser boards to review for the chapter 10 test.
Assignment: Finish making corrections in the packet and be prepared to hand it in before the test on Tuesday. Study for the chapter 10 test.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students looked at grades on test.
In Class: Students took a quiz over chapters 1-9. Students read chapters 10-11 and the yellow packet for 1-11 is due tomorrow.
Assignment: Finish reading Gentlehands through ch.10-11 and do yellow packet. Keep reading your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points.
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Students started the Learning Opportunity worksheet regarding chapter 5.4 and 5.5.
Experience at Home: Be ready for six question quiz.
SCIENCE
In class: Constellation of the Month was done today. I attached the information you will need. We went to the lab and worked on testing soils. We will finish that tomorrow in room 111.
Assignment: Lab work to do.
Journal: Fill out your planner for the week. Journal questions to answer.
