In Class: Reviewed the volume of prisms and cylinders before introducing the volume formulas for rectangular pyramids and cones.
Assignment: Complete worksheet 9-10. Be sure to give the formula, substitution, and your answer labeled in cubic units.
ALGEBRA
In class: Returned the chapter 10 test and students worked in groups to make corrections.
Assignment: Complete page 713 exercises 45-57 odd, 60, 63.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students played “Who Wants to Get a 100?” as a way to review chapters 13-14. We read chapter15 in class. Read chapter 16.
Assignment: Finish reading Gentlehands through ch.15-16 and do yellow packet. Keep reading your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points. Final day to take AR tests is May 19!!!
