Pre Algebra
In Class: Reviewed volume of prisms, cylinders, pyramids and cones. Students worked with partners to complete the Volume Worksheet.
Assignment: Finish the Volume Worksheet exercises 1-18 which students worked on in class. Answers were given so students could check their work. Be sure to give the formula, substitution, and your answer labeled in cubic units.
ALGEBRA
In class: Introduced adding solving equations involving square roots.
Assignment: Complete page 725 exercises 30-52 even.
ENGLISH
Bell Work: None.
In Class: Students reviewed for the Gentlehands test on Thursday.
Assignment: Finish yellow packet; due tomorrow. Gentlehands test tomorrow! Keep reading your AR books to acquire fourth quarter points. Final day to take AR tests is May 19!!!
The HISTORY Experience
Experienced at School: Students attempted a practice vocabulary test.
Experience at Home: Prepare for Big Kahauna IV.
SCIENCE
In class: We went through the review sheet and answered questions for the assessment. We did a soil availability simulation. A practice assessment was started. We will finish it tomorrow and get ready to take the assessment.
Assignment: Review sheet and practice assessments will be due on Thursday. We will take the last assessment we need to take.
Journal: We worked on the review questions.
