In Class: Reviewed writing equations and inequalities from the verbal form and applied this process to real life situations.

PRE-ALGEBRA
In Class: Students reviewed addition of integers. Students were introduced to integer vocabulary, which should be completed by Thursday and worked on the Race Track assignment. Assignments were organized and stapled together, and students were asked to bring their pre-algebra textbook to class on Tuesday

ENGLISH
Bell Work: Students wrote definitions for action verb, transitive verbs, and intransitive verbs. (p. 330)
In Class: Students reviewed action verbs and discussed transitive/intransitive verbs in class. We practiced finding them in sentences.
Assignment: Students need to finish verb worksheet for Tuesday. Students should be reading AR books for 1st quarter.
HISTORY
In class: Students took a test on chapter 4.
Assignment: Tell your parents you love them and give them a hug
SCIENCE
In Class: We finished and practiced using our quadrants for the moon watch. Parent Letters were handed in that weren’t already in. We compared the sun, moon, and earth. Moon Watch starts on Sunday.
Assignment: Moon Watch begins Aug. 31st.
